BELFAST 

KAREN BETH ROBERTS, died October 16, 2023 at Maine Medical Center.  She was born April 26, 1957 in Bangor to Keith and Faith T. Roberts.  Karen graduated from Belfast Area High School, Class of 1975.  Karen worked for the Department of Human Services for over 40 years retiring in 2018.  

 

She was predeceased by her father Keith.  Karen is survived by her mother; sister Kathi Cross and James McLaughlin of Bangor, nephews Jason Cross and his wife Megan of Windham, Kevin Cross of Arizona and great grand-nephew Xavier Cross and her dog, Cooper.  

 

In keeping with Karen's wishes, there will be no funeral services. She had a great love of animals, so those who wish to remember her may make a donation to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mount Hope Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401.   Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at ripostafh.com.
