Obituary of Allen Wesley Hayward

BELFAST ALLEN WESLEY HAYWARD 12/15/1941 - 11/05/2020 On November 5, 2020 Allen Wesley Hayward passed away. Allen's passion was the water. He lobstered most of his life and enjoyed quahogging and smelting with his friends. He had wonderful gardens and enjoyed being outdoors. Allen was a Mason for 57 years as well as a Shriner. He volunteered for years at the Northport Food Pantry as well as his Masonic Lodge in Saturday Cove. He curled for many years. Allen loved hunting, especially going to Deer Camp with Herb and the boys. He worked at Wayfarer Marina in Camden for 41 years. Allen was a special, quiet man who had many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Louise Hayward and a sister Shirley Hayward. He is survived by his partner, Irene Blood; his siblings Phyllis and Herbert Jordan, Rita and David Edman, Lynn and Shirley Hayward and Harold "Dale" and Geri Hayward; many nieces and nephews. Allen is also survived by Irene's family - Michele and Dale Pendleton, Catherine and Bryan Robbins and Irene's grandchildren. Graveside and Masonic service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Morrill Village Cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions there is a limit of 100 in attendance.
