Obituary of Alana J. Rowe

Alana J. Rowe, 69 of Searsport, passed away suddenly at home on March 25, 2019. Alana was born in Belfast on September 15, 1949 to the late Allan and Melvena Rowe. Alana was known for her talents such as needlepoint, crafts and cooking and her playing the piano and organ in church and at home. She loved her doll collection and a very special dog: Darrell. Alana grew up on a farm in Stockton Springs where she loved riding, training, and showing horses. Alana was predeceased by her parents, her dear friend Gloria Cushman and several aunts and uncles. Surving are her siblings, Erma Thompson, Gloria Corey and her husband Dennis and Allan Rowe Jr.; her nephews, DJ Corey Jr. and Andrew Corey and his wife Robin and their children, Chandler, Jasmine and Deborah Alana; a dear friend Harold Cushman and a host of special cousins and friends.
