Alana was my neighbor growing up. I have so many wonderful memories of our time spent together riding bikes, hiking up to Fletcher's Hill, horseback riding, walking downtown for orange popsicles, playing hopscotch, sledding on the hill between our houses and all the fun things kids do together. Alana will always hold a special place in my memories. My sympathies to all her family. Linda Marshall Kyomitmaitee

I was home in October 2018 from Virginia. I had asked Alana if she could get the cousins together for a lunch. I am so glad she did as I had not seen her in about forty five years. I know she is in a better place now. Sympathy to the family. Love you all. Guy (cousin)

The memory that still warms my heart is when this cousin of mine, so saddened by her mom's death, summoned strength from Our Heavenly Father to sing at Melvina's funeral. Alana was a dear Christian lady and loving aunt to her nephews and grand nephews. She suffered with much physical pain but is now with her parents and whole again.
