I didn't visit my cousin Jennie enough even though we live near each other but when I did she was always so pleased to see me. The last time we spoke was last month when she had heard our son, Scott was in the hospital and had a heart attack and called to give her kind loving thoughts and she said, "if I could I'd give him my heart as I've lived a long life and won't need it much anymore." She had a big heart and I hope she and Scott will be get to know each other better now that both have passed on.

To Jennie's family: Jennie was such a big part of life in Searsmont, it's hard to imagine it without her being there. She was a good friend to my parents, and an inspiration to my Mom's artistic endeavors. She had such a happy smile that was so real. So sorry for your loss.

Gram was a very special, kind and giving lady . She loved her boys and all her grand children right down to her great and great greats. She had so much love to give and she did share it with everyone she knew and came in contact with. I have a lot of great memories of her my favorite one is when she use to take us all up to the camp one day I couldn't have been anymore then 5 but I was out playing and on my way back to the camp on one of many paths we had up there I found a lady slipper well I didn't know I wasn't suppose to pick it , so I took it in to her and said gram look at this pretty flower I picked for you. You would have thought that I robbed a bank lol she was freaking out a little telling me we cant let anyone know we picked it or we would get in to big trouble man didn't she have me on edge about that , needless to say I never picked one again or nor have I dared to even go near them. I love you gram you'll always be in my thoughts. Oh yeah and I finally have admitted that I look like you !!

My Gram: She was my gram/mom/best friend and a very special person. She was kind, loving, caring, and a strong woman. She showed this to everyone that she met. She showed me so much in my life. One of my favorite memories was her taking all 5 of us grand kids to camp and we slept in a small one room camp. How she did it was amazing, she had to be a very strong woman. Family meant everything to my Gram. I love her and will always miss her. I know she is with grampa and at piece now. May she soar high above us. Rest in peace Gram Diane
