Obituary of Patricia A. Hill

Patricia Ann Hill 75 passed away December 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her spouse of 47 years, Robert J. Hill.

Patricia was born in Lynn Massachusetts to Kenneth and Helen Buckley.  She was the oldest of 3 children. Most of her life she worked in retail or manufacturing. In the mid 80’s she enrolled in Beal college to pursue medical assisting. She enjoyed the clinical portion so much she then enrolled in Husson college for Nursing. After 2 years she was able to begin work as a nursing assistant on Grant 6 at Eastern Maine Medical Center.  She continued there after receiving her RN, BSN until retirement. 

She is survived by a brother Michael Buckley of Salem, MA. Two daughters and their spouses, Andrea and Richard Romesburg of Winterport, ME., and Michelle and Anthony Pontious of Hudson, ME. She has 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A spring burial will be planned.
