Faye Lois (Genthner) Neild, 71, of Monroe passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on July 8, 1953, to Kenneth and Ruby Genthner in Damariscotta, Maine. Faye operated her own crab-picking business and worked for many years at Pen Bay and Waldo County Hospitals as a Dietary Aid and supervisor.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, including many trips to the North Maine Woods for camping, fishing, and wildlife. Faye was a loving and caring person who we all will miss and will always love.

She is survived by her husband, Eben Bucklin; her sons, Kenneth and Eugene Neild, and her stepson Eben Cook; brothers, Gary and Ricky Genthner, and her sisters, Kathy Miller and Wanda Bowden; grandchildren Brianna Neild, Kenneth (Buddy)Neild and Jack Wadsworth; two great-granddaughters, Leah Havener and Navaeh Haskell, many nieces and nephews, and her loyal black lab, Jake.

Faye was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Ruby Genthner, her daughter Tracey Neild, her brothers, Kenneth and Raymond Genthner and her sister Bonnie Polland.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast, Me.
