Obituary of Kenneth L. Walker

Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kenneth L. Walker, 64, went to join his Lord and Savior on July 16, 2024, at home after a brief illness, with his mother and brother by his side.  Kenny was born January 20, 1960, in Palmer Massachusetts to Llyod and Sylvia (Dean) Walker.

Kenny spent most of his life in Fort Worth, Texas and became accomplished in working with cement.  During recent years he has worked as a groundskeeper at a cemetery in Swanville, Maine, a privilege he took great pride in.  He took an avid interest in meeting families there and learning their history.

In his spare time Kenny enjoyed artwork, drawing lovely facial portraits.  He also enjoyed many hours with his guitars learning the music of Pink Floyd.

Kenny was predeceased by his father and brother Lloyd Walker Jr.  Kenny is survived by his mother; brothers Ralph of Swanville and Alan of Belfast; sisters Janet Walker and Janine (Larry) Edgington of Harrison, Arkansas; and many cousins.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Waldo County Hospital, Pen Bay Hospital, Gentiva Hospice Care, and friends for all their love and support.

Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Swanville, Maine.  Memories and condolences may be shared on his tribute wall.
