Obituary of Robert L. Bouchard

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Robert Lee Bouchard "Busch", 74, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Appleton on June 28th, 2024. He was born July 20, 1949, in Caribou Maine, the first of three sons to Clarence and Patricia (Davenport) Bouchard.

Busch grew up in the town of Appleton and graduated from Camden-Rockport High School class of 1968. Shortly after graduating, he joined the US Army, became a heavy equipment mechanic, and was stationed in Okinawa during the Vietnam War. After returning home he continued to serve his country in the Army Reserve and later in the National Guard and retired as a Sergeant E5 on July 20, 2009.

Busch worked at Penobscot Frozen Foods for many years in the maintenance department and later became an electrician. Busch eventually left PFF and went to work at the Searsport Waste Water treatment plant as an operator. He enjoyed his job and the people he worked with. Busch had a contagious laugh, enjoyed life, and had a big heart. He loved good music, taking long rides on his motorcycle, snowmobiling in his younger days, and spending time with his family and friends.

On September 6, 2003, Busch married his loving wife, Priscilla (Moulton) Bouchard and they blended two families into one. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Priscilla and their children; Tia Fournier husband Steven, Robert E Lee Bouchard wife Candice, Norman Gilmore wife Marilyn, Brian Gilmore, Janice Toothaker husband Kevin and Donna Merrithew husband Gary, his brothers and their wives, Gordan & Kathy Bouchard and Conrad & Debra Bouchard and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Busch had made it well known that he did not want flowers and tears but laughter and stories to celebrate his life. So we the family ask all that would like to join us on Saturday, July 20, 2024, for a celebration of life at the Waldo Town Office at 629 Waldo Station Rd in Waldo Me 04915 from 3-6 pm.
