When I was a kid my favorite holiday was Thanksgiving as my aunt and uncle and all my cousins from Maine would come to our house in Massachusetts. I would get so excited with anticipation of their arrival. And once they were there we always had a fun long weekend. I also was very proud to tell all my friends that my aunt and uncle owned an ice cream stand!

To The Weaver Family, my deepest condolences. The passing of Bob is so sad for many of us personally as well, as we remember how Bob and Jackie blessed us as little children at the Dairy Joy. These two beautiful human beings became not only symbols of our delicious treats, but an example of kindness, gentleness and joy. It was surely fitting how that name, Joy, was in their business name as it was truly a part of their nature to everyone. They passed on joy to all who encountered them, whether weekly or monthly encounters or perhaps only once while passing through town. To know them was to love them. My heart breaks for your tremendous grief; yet knowing your Mom is dancing and smiling that beautiful smile of hers as she is now reunited with the love of her life, I know your Dad is "joyful", being united with Jesus and reunited with his lovely bride. May the Lord bless you and comfort you during this sad time. Thank you, Bob and Jackie, for bringing such joy to us as little kids. You are deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
