PROSPECT and STOCKTON SPRINGS- Aimee L. (Sanborn) Grindel passed away June 9, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born July 7, 1971 in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of John and Carlene (Bennett) Sanborn. Aimee was married to the love of her life, Andrew K. Grindel I on February 17, 1990.
Aimee was a devoted wife and mother, an avid photographer and took the most beautiful pictures of nature and was always behind the camera at all family gatherings. She loved flowers, gardening, and was a fantastic crafter.
Aimee is survived by her husband, Andrew K. Grindel I of Prospect, two sons, Andrew K. Grindel II and Adam Grindel both of Prospect; a brother, John Sanborn and wife, Sandy of Benton; and a sister, Karee Taylor and husband, Scott of Frankfort; many nieces and nephews; and a granddaughter, Vannah, her absolute pride and joy.
