Cynthia L. ( Verrill) Newton, 66 passed away peacefully at her home in Searsport, ME on May 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. She is preceded by her parents Edward J. Verrill and Pearl (Patten) Braley, her sister Linda (Patten) Davis, her brother Dennis Patten, and her granddaughter Rebecca Sweetland.

Cindy is survived by her Husband of 34 years Ricky W. Newton of Searsport, ME, Her brother Dale Verrill of CO, her son Whitney W. Emmerton Jr. Of Stockton Springs, ME, her daughter Heidi L. Emmerton of Lyman, ME, also her grandchildren Cameron L. Kinney of Warren, ME, Allaura J. Dunham of Swanville, ME, Melody I. Dunham of Searsport, ME and Riley W. Emmerton of Stockton Springs, ME. Along with her Great-granddaughter Brandy L. Kinney and many nieces and nephews.

Cindy enjoyed Yard sales, Goodwill, being by the water, and people-watching. As well as spending time with friends and family, but most all spoiling her grand Babies!

Cindy's celebration of life will be held July 21, 2024, at 1 pm at the Belfast City Park Gazebo.
