Obituary of Paula S. Gamble

Paula S. Gamble (Norton) 77 of Prospect Maine, born May 23, 1946, died at her home with her daughter by her side on May 7, 2024, after a short illness.

The only child of Chester and Helen Norton (Tweedie), she lived in Prospect most of her life.  Paula married Carl G. Gamble of Prospect.  Her greatest love was for her family.

Paula is survived by Carl G. Gamble; her daughter Karen Gamble and fiancée David Orcutt of Prospect; her grandson Brandon Bradeen, whom she loved with all her heart, and his fiancé Michelle Griffin and her great-granddaughter Hailie of Glenburn. Paula was predeceased by her parents; by her son Roy M. Gamble who passed away December 8, 1998; and by her son Jammie C. Gamble, whom son she loved unconditionally, who died in an automobile accident October 24th, 2023. 

Paula was a loving caretaker.  She took care of her handicapped son Roy, whom she adored, until his passing, and took care of her husband for many years until her own failing health would no longer allow her.

Paula was a loving, caring, and strong woman. She enjoyed seeing the different birds out her window and listening to the cardinals in the morning as she started her day. She will be deeply missed. 

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 3 pm at Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Stockton Springs, Me.
