I first met Taylor through the horse shoe league, when he started playing down at Marty's. Then the league moved up to Northport where I got to become friends with many of his family members. They are a close knit, fun loving bunch and one can not help but notice the love they share for one another. Even though breaks in trust have left me a guarded person who tends to warm to others slowly, I liked Taylor from the very start. It was through his smile that I could see what a kind soul he was. The memories gained through the years will never fade, and his gratitude towards others will not be forgotten. Respectfully Submitted, Smitty

I did not know Taylor for as long as most of you have, but what does time mean in love and friendship? I pray that Taylor felt the same love for me that I feel for him. When we first met, he was so much more than happy and accepting of what I am for my husband. Taylor was elated that Joshua found a woman to both keep his life straight and love him the way Taylor could see he deserved to be loved. That being said, Taylor always joked with us about how different things would be if he and I had met first.
From standing beside my husband when we got married, to fixing my wedding dress when it broke, to riding to our house late at night just to share some love and music with us, Taylor has been a loving and fun part of my life and I wouldn’t be the same without him.
Taylor and his family are family to me, and life is so much more meaningful because of the Patterson’s and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Here’s to you, until we meet again babe. I love you endlessly.

When Taylor and I met, we connected immediately and became so close, he is like a brother to me. I was hanging around at a friends house, Taylor walked into the basement looked at me, said, “hey sexy” then without a second thought planted a kiss right on my lips. From there, we built a bond, went through the highs and lows of life and friendship, but he was there for me through the thick of it. Taylor always made me feel loved, welcomed, and seen.
We all know how much music meant to T, after he died, I heard a song sang by Miley Cyrus, go figure. She sang the lyric “I’m gonna make you wish you never met me when I’m gone”. Now, I could never say I wish I hadn’t met Taylor because I LOVE him, but T was the type of person you don’t want to see your life without and I’m proud to call him my friend.

I loved seeing the connection Taylor had with his siblings. He was so loving to all his cousins. When he wasn’t busy he made time to help me by fixing my car. He would drop whatever he was doing to give me a hug when he saw me. I loved his smile and his excitement! I will miss the sound of the bike running down the road cause I knew he was around home. Everytime I see one I’ll think of him. Praying for my family as they grieve deeper side of Taylor of what I didn’t get to see every day. I love you all!

Taylor was an amazing person. I remember coaching him in youth basketball. Every time he saw me he called me Coach. He always had that infectious smile and I enjoyed hanging out with him occasionally. I will truly miss that young man. RIP my friend
