Milford E. Rhodes, 94, passed away on January 27, 2024, at home with his family. Milford was born on November 28, 1929, the son of Elden and Irma Thomas Rhodes.

He worked for the Belfast Water District for 35 years and was also a member of the Belfast Fire Department.

Milford was predeceased by his parents and four sisters: Dorothea Genthner, Marilyn Banks, Eldena Larrabee, and Cecile Gifford. Milford is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jessie Jackson Rhodes; his son, Mark Rhodes; grandson, Lucas Rhodes; sister-in-law, Mary Benjamin; brother-in-law, Hartley Jackson, and his wife, Debbie; brother-in-law, Lawrence Way; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
