Q: What 3 words best describe Phyllis and why?
A: Listener: I could always count on Phyllis to listen to a problem I was having, or a story I was telling, or a joke. She always seemed to give anyone her undivided attention, never hurrying someone through something because she “had something to do”. In that she demonstrated her great sincerity.
Direct: I loved Phyllis for not pulling punches and always telling you what she thought. Phyllis is possibly the most honest person I have ever known.
Fun: Phyllis laughed with ease, had a smile that lit up a room, and kept you sharp by her quick, insightful comments and observations. An interaction with Phyllis inevitably put a smile on my face, and lightened my step.
I am so blessed to have had Phyllis in my life.
Heartfelt condolences,
John Maier

My Auntie Phyllis is quite possibly the nicest person I have ever known. Being so close in age she was a tremendous influence in my early life and I regret not spending more time with her in the later years.
Auntie, you leaving really affected me, I just wasn't ready, but the important thing is you are no longer suffering. I think of you every day, I miss you and love you. Renee
