Obituary of Sharon Amy Corbett

Sharon Amy Corbett, 73, sadly passed on January 22, 2024, in Lincolnville, Maine due to a chronic heart condition.

 

Sharon was born at Fort Devens, MA on October 10, 1950. In her childhood, she moved with her family to several places in New England and New York State. Her family settled down in her father’s hometown of Manchester, NH in December 1959.

 

 Sharon attended local Manchester schools and graduated from Central High School in 1968. She relocated to Lynn, MA in 1978 and worked at GE Aviation for 30 years as a machinist.

 

Sharon earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (cum laude) at Northeastern University in June of 1987.

 

Sharon retired to Lincolnville, Maine, where she spent the remainder of her life focusing on her hobbies of gardening, arts and crafts, and needlework projects.

 

Sharon was pre-decreased by her parents: Joseph H. Corbett and Dawn Corbett Maki. Sharon was also pre-deceased by her son, Rodney.

 

She is survived by her brothers: J. Thomas Corbett of Manchester, PA, and Bill Corbett of Winter Haven, FL. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Tux.

 

Sharon was very fortunate to have enjoyed a caring and supportive network of neighbors and friends in Lincolnville.
