Brendan Witt passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 50, at his home in Southgate, Michigan.

He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 31, 1972, to Gary and Elaine Witt and spent his younger years living and enjoying the freedom on Hickory Island in Grosse Ile, Michigan with his brothers, Sean and Kevin and Island friends.  The family moved to Wyandotte, Michigan in 1978 and then to Northport, Maine in 1988.  Brendan graduated from Belfast High in 1991, attended school, studying aeronautical mechanics, and worked many years at Stellantis.

Brendan took such pride in his sons, Kevin and Owen.  He boasted of their achievements and his greatest joy was attending sports events and nights out with them.

Brendan was predeceased by his father, Gary, his brother, Kevin and his uncle, Larry.

He will be greatly missed by his mother, Elaine; his brother Sean; his sons, Kevin and Owen; his sister-in-law Jennie; his nephews, Aidan and Ian; his niece Annika; his aunt Barbara; his cousins Evan and Earl, as well as many Witt cousins.

Many thanks to these friends who loved and supported him throughout his life, including the Whiting family of Northport and Charles, Stannie and Nicole Young of Michigan.
