Aunt Flo always welcomed our family to visit wherever her home was as she and her family moved around the country following Uncle Junior’s career in the Navy.
I recall a nice visit to Maryland with my parents and two sisters and a solo visit to the family in Newport, RI. Aunt Flo helped me sew a dress as I was just learning to use a sewing machine. For her, sewing in a zipper was a breeze!
