Poppa would always have something to say that would make everyone laugh and smile he just made everyone’s life brighter. Especially mine, over the years poppa and I have created countless memories some I remember from when I was a toddler and some from this past year. A few of my favorites, my sister and I going “ahhhh” on nanna and poppas road so it would sound funny as we drove down their very bumpy road, learning to knit (I had the best teacher), camping and listening to blues by the fire. Although those are only three of my favorite memories I will treasure all of them for my entire lifetime. Poppa was such a kind and loving person and I will miss him so much. Love you poppa, forever.

Sorry for your loss. You don't know me but I got to meet Peter and Connie at a show at Camden Opera House featuring The Ghost of Paul Revear. Peter, We still find it hard to believe that you are gone. We have had so many wonderful family celebrations throughout the last 28 years! Rest in love my beautiful Poppa.
To be by your side in your very last moments on this earth, is something I will never ever forget.
To see you one last time has meant the absolute world to me.
You waited for me to get here before ending your very quick and tough battle. I love you.
You knew I was with you and that brings me peace that I didn’t realise I needed.
The only thing that makes this any easier is knowing you’re with mum now, forever. What a reunion that is.

Dear Pete.
It is with great sadness that I am writing these memories on your Tribute page. You will always be my favorite older brother (okay other boys you are favorites also). I remember you as one of the most snazziest dressers in Pukekohe and boy you had the looks. Friday after work you would pick up your layby at Gills Menswear and out you would go for the night. You sure had style. I vividly remember Mum teaching you how to knit, and you were very good at it. You were a great horseman and sometimes you would let me ride old Jack Shorts horse. You loved your family here in NZ and USA. Life can sometimes be cruel and you have passed far to early. You will be sorely missed by your sister Kerry, Brother inlaw Ced and all our family.

Pete, thanks for being a great big brother. I have lots of good memories growing up as the youngest of the family with 7 brothers and 2 sisters. I will never forget the holiday I had with you in Ngāruawāhia, when I was about 12 years old and you borrowed a horse for me to ride for the 2 weeks. It was the best school holiday I ever had.
Thank you for being able to come and spend time with Leigh.
We will always love and miss you.

Early on, when Peter and I were talking long distance, and planning his “visit” to the U.S., Peter told me he had something to tell me. I thought “oh no, now what?” And he said “I knit”. What a relief! I miss you Peter❤️

My favorite memory of Peter was all of them, we had so many adventures, camping, cooking, fishing, going to Bluegrass Festivals. Peter was a very talented man, we had many discussions about everything under the sun. I will miss my brother from another everyday. This picture is the 4 Amigos on their annual 4th of July boat trip to Fry Island, we ate and fished all the way back. Pete and I sat out back to fish and Connie was our captain driving the boat.

Thanksgiving will never go by without memories of Peter cutting and cooking vegetables, making the gravy, and carving the turkey. I will miss our early morning coffee together, and our goodbyes which always ended with me telling him to take care of my sister and his inevitable reply of "yes, she's a worry!".
I loved his stories of New Zealand and will be forever grateful that he taught me how to eat a kiwi. Peter, you were taken from us too quickly and too soon, but rest assured that we will always carry cherished memories of you in our hearts. Until we meet again.
