Leroy Elmer Thomas

March 7, 1941 - October 18, 2023

Leroy graduated in 1959 from Walker High School in Liberty, and the Hanson Barber School in Lewiston, Maine. He ran Thomas Barber Shop in the Post Office Square, Belfast, Maine for over 40 years. He belonged to the Masons for 50+ years as a member of Phoenix Lodge #0024 in Belfast. For several years he was an assistant Boy Scout Leader for Troop #35 in Searsmont.

Leroy was predeceased by his parents Leroy M. & Eva Thurston Thomas; his grandparents: Norman & Carrie Blake Thomas; and Elmer & Inez Thurston; his in-laws Henry & Selena Carson Littlefield; brothers-in-law Eugene & Wilda Littlefield, and  Warren Littlefield.

Surviving are: his loving wife of 59 years, Beverly Littlefield Thomas; his two sons and their wives, Randall & Pamela White Thomas, and Robert & Angelia Hutchins Thomas; his 7 grandchildren, Nathanael, Aaron (Abbey), Noah (Megan), Hushai (Brooke), Victoria Wooster (Jake), Sariah, and Emma; his great-grandson Bryson; his brothers-in-law Maurice (Julia) Littlefield, Gary (Viola) Littlefield; his sister-in-law Gloria Littlefield, and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
