James Francis Quinn, 64, of Hermon, Maine passed away October 6, 2023, in Bangor.

Jim was born in Bangor August 29, 1959, to the late Bernard F. and Florence E. (Clark) Quinn of Glenburn.

Jim was a loving father and would say his greatest accomplishment was his family. An outdoor enthusiast, Jim enjoyed spending time in nature and was an avid hunter. He was always ready with a story from one of his adventures. Jim enjoyed camping at Cathedral Pines and off roading with his family. He had a love of cars and enjoyed sharing this knowledge with his sons and teaching them to drive. He had a love for tinkering and could fix just about anything. He also loved his animals and other’s as well. He enjoyed watching the neighbor’s ducks play in their pond.

In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents as well as several aunts and uncles. Jim is survived by his sons, Andrew Quinn and his wife Christine of Hartford Maine, Justin Quinn of Hartford Maine; his brother Tim Quinn of Mariaville; four sisters Kathy Quinn of Bangor, Terri Gralinski and her husband Fred from New Port Richey, Fl, Sussan Bernardini of Bangor and Janette Giles and her husband Shane of Winterport, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations made him James’ name to the American Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Giles’ residence, 246 Goshen Road Winterport, ME. Memories and condolences may be shared at ripostafh.com.
