Obituary of Gloria Ann Moores

Gloria Ann Moores, 70 years, of Ellsworth, ME, passed away August 30, 2023, at Courtland Nursing Home in Ellsworth, Maine after a long battle of cancer.  She was born September 27, 1952 in Lubec, Maine, the daughter of  the late Albert and Helen (Wilcox) .

Gloria did factory work for a short time, but her heart was always being a caretaker for animals.  She enjoyed being outdoors.

Gloria is predeceased by her husband Lewis Cole; her brothers, Ernest and Ashton; her sister Marlene and her infant  daughter Barbie Ann Moores.  Surviving are her sister Joyce Merrill and her husband Tom of Belfast; brothers Albert Moores Jr. of Swanville, Lewis Moores of Brewer and Carrol Moores and his wife Sue; sister-in-law Delores Moores of Swanville; three children, Tammy, Jimbo, and Ricky; several nieces and nephews, including some very special ones, Scott Moores, Julian Maxcy, Glenn Maxcy, Lisa Maxcy, Derreck Maxcy and Amanda.  She loved each and every one of them heart and sole.  Gloria made some speical friends in South Paris.

Services will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please donate to the Cancer Society.  Memories and condolences may be shared on her triute wall.
