Obituary of Sandra A. Roman

A beautiful, smart, talented, and indescribably strong mother, Sandi Roman of Belfast, Maine has tragically passed away. Sandi Roman affectionately known to many as “Pinkalicious” was an incredible mother, wife, and friend. She spread laughter and joy to everyone she met.

No words can adequately capture the essence of Sandi Roman, the woman she was. Those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with Sandi understand the radiant warmth she exuded. Her strength, selflessness, and inner beauty were truly exceptional, infusing every space she entered with positivity.

Sandi possesses a broad spectrum of experience spanning from newborns to 18-year-olds. In addition, she held roles as a sports commentator within the Little League and Cal Ripken League. Sandi’s vocal talents extended to performing the National Anthem for events in both leagues, as well as at high school basketball games and Blue Fish Swim meets hosted at the YMCA. Her linguistic abilities were equally impressive, as she was fluent in both English and Spanish.

Sandi was selfless, and constantly put the needs of others before herself. For those acquainted with Belfast, Sandi stood as a cornerstone of the community, consistently extending herself to elicit smiles from others. In the wake of her departure, Sandi is survived by her husband, JR, and her two remarkable sons, Zavier and Zander.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at Riposta Funera Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast Me from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Memories and condolences may be shared on her tribute wall.
