Pauline M. Cole

1949 - 2023

Pauline M. (Parker) Cole, 73, passed away on August 6, 2023 at the Sussman House after a brief hospital stay at WCGH.

She was born October 9, 1949 in Frankfort to Arlene (Hustus) Parker and George Parker Sr. She married Reginald Cole Sr. on February 17, 1968, and spent 52 years married before the death of her husband in 2020. They went on to have 4 children together. They lived in several states throughout the marriage before moving back to Maine in 1986 to settle.

Pauline (Polly) was very involved with her family and loved by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and showed her love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren every minute of every day. She loved to shop for her people and should of owned stock at walmart.com! Even a week after her passing, the packages for her little people are still pouring in. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved having a big party and watching everyone together. Nothing warmed her heart more. Next was summer so she could watch all the kids swim in our pool and have BBQ’s together. She enjoyed playing Rummy, skip-bo, and cribbage with her youngest grandson Austin right up to days before being hospitalized. She especially loved it when she won! She was definitely our biggest blessing in our family and the glue that held us all together. She was always the first one there to support us, help us, guide us, and never judged us, mom always had unconditional love for people. She truly was the best Mom, Nana, and best friend to us.

Pauline was pre-deceased by her husband Reggie in 2020; her parents, Arlene and George Parker Sr.; great-grandaughter Peyton Spurgeon; brother Alvin Parker and wife Gerry; brother Stewart Parker and wife Lynda; sister Gertrude Clewley and husband Raymond; sister Ruth Puglisi and husband Carman; sister Gloria Dunroe and husband Tommy; sister-n-law Gail Parker; sister-n-law Sherry Freeman and husband Richard; sister-n-law Nancy McKay and husband Jack; brother-n-law Sonny Cole; and sister-n-law Norma Lavin.
