Belfast- Linda Webber Soares passed away peacefully in the early morning of June 18, 2023, with her husband and daughter by her side. Linda was the daughter of Don and Mabel Webber.

Linda attended schools in Belfast and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Portland. She received a degree in French Studies from Ricker College in Houlton.

In her younger years, Linda worked as a waitress at Jed’s and later very much enjoyed her work as a legal secretary for Martin Crowe, Esq.

Her parents and brother Dennis Webber predeceased Linda. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Glenn Soares; son Bryan and wife Rebecca Jones, adored granddaughter Hailey of Eliot; daughter Jennie Soares of So. Portland; son Kevin and wife Amber Taylor-Soares of Randolph. Sister Carolyn DeVita and husband Don of Kent, CT; brother Mike Webber and wife Pat of Belfast along with nieces & nephews.

An informal memorial service will be held on her birthdate of Wednesday, July 19th from 2PM to 6PM at the Belfast Boathouse, 34 Commercial St.
