Toni lived with my mom and dad, Marion & Alger Parmenter, during her high school years and was like a sister to me. I remember when Jesse starting “Sparkln’ ” (an old Maine term) Toni. Shortly after marriage, they settled in Liberty and built their house. As a kid helping build their house, I learned at lot from Jesse - not only about house building but also as a “can do” and a positive, hard working person. One who was generous with his time helping neighbors and various organizations and causes. Throughout his life Jesse was passionate about everything he did - dancing, roller skating, traveling, work, daily exercising, etc., and always with that friendly smile of his. When I come back to Maine to visit, I will certainly miss Jesse whether it’s clinking our wine glasses, or talking about his latest project or their next travel plans. We offer our deepest sympathy to Toni and their family.
