Obituary of Robert Charles Remsberg

Robert (Bob) Charles Remsberg passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023 with his loving wife Susan Remsberg and daughter Stephanie Allen by his side.

Born in Frederick, MD, to parents Charles and Elizabeth Remsberg of Oakland Farm in Middletown, Bob worked as a professional photographer in Virginia, then raised cattle after retirement.  His favorite pastime was flying his ultralite over Hanover County.

In 2000, the couple built a home in Northport, ME, overlooking the bay.  Moving to Maine led to new loves of boating and hiking.  He and Susan saw the country via train trips to National Parks in the Western US and later a trip across Canada. 

In 2018, their daughter Stephanie and her husband Roger moved from Texas to the Northport house, and Bob and Susan moved to Penobscot Shores Retirement Community in Belfast.

In addition to his wife and daughter, Bob leaves his siblings Betty DeColigny of Hanover, PA, Angela Seigert of Montgomery, TX, Bill Remsberg of Bel Air, MD, and many nieces and nephews.
