BROOKS

Linda Lee (Robbins) Moody, 77, of Brooks passed away on Thursday, February 9 surrounded by her family. She was born May 28, 1945 to Ellery Robbins and Viola Canning Robbins. In 1963 she married the man she loved, Maurice Moody.  

Linda loved children. She was a nursery school teacher for a number of years, and then worked as secretary at Mt. View Elementary School. She was very active in her church and especially enjoyed playing her saxophone in services.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years Maurice, daughter Andrea (Ken) Davenport, and son Mark (Jennifer) Moody, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, her mother and stepfather Viola and Fred Wheeler, and brothers Jerry (Dianne) Robbins, Larry Robbins, and Gary Robbins.

Visiting hours will be held at Riposta Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 15 from 4 to 6 pm.  Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday, February 16 at Faith Temple Church, Lincolnville Ave, Belfast followed by a gathering at the church.  Memories and condolences may be shared at ripostafh.com.
