I read Kathy’s obit in the Hartford Courant. My husband, Michael, and I both attended South Catholic and graduated with Kathy. We also remember her husband, Ralph, very well. We are both so sorry for your loss. We went to football games, basketball games, dances and so many other activities. It was a great time back then. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely, Camilla

Sending my love to Michaela and Vanessa and family on the sad passing of Katie. Gone way too soon, Katie was one of the great ones. Wish I had seen more of her over the past years , but whenever we met she had that great smile and I enjoyed those rare visits. My best to you both and your families. Gary Skigen

I worked at WCGH in Belfast with Katie. She was always happy, had a smile that was contagious. She loved her girls, and always shared stories about them..Nursing was definitely her calling, she cared deeply for all her patients.

Katie was the caregiver for my husband throughout his illness in 2008-09. She was so caring, kind, and thoughtful, a real natural caregiver. We looked forward to her weekly visits and the light and love she brought into our home. She also could be called on at any given moment and did her best to arrive quickly. She has been fondly remembered and talked about over the years since. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in the memories.
