Obituary of Ellery Fairbrother

Ellery Fairbrother, 84, of Searsport passed away January 23, 2023. He was born August 18, 1938, in Belfast to James and Jessie (Frazier) Fairbrother. He was the owner and operator of Fairbrother Appliance Co. and lived in Searsport for many years.

He is survived by the love of his and partner, Laura Kilby; his children, Forest Fairbrother and wife Amy, Tarrence Fairbrother and wife Bettyanne, Kelly Hall, Jessica and husband Greg Talgo, Jason Kilby and Mark Hoag. Also, a special grandson Nicholas Kahriman. He is survived by two sisters, Ruby Laskey and Lois Browne and husband Bill, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many many friends and acquaintances.

Ellery was predeceased by his parents James and Jessie, his son Brian Fairbrother, his grandson Derek Anthony Perkins, brothers Jim, Joe, Marvin and Percy. One sister Cathy Susan and his first wife Harriette.

A celebration of life/memorial service will be held at Mid-Coast Marine in Winterport later this summer.
