Obituary of Rodney K. Fuller
Rodney Kenneth Fuller of Searsmont passed away on January 18, 2023 at WCGH, he was 82 years of age.
Rodney was born in Searsmont to Donald and Ethelyn Fuller on May 31, 1940 and lived in Searsmont his entire life. Rodney began a very long career driving truck in 1957 for Maplewood Poultry delivering poultry products to Massachusetts with his father Donald. In 1964 he began working at Robbins Lumber hauling logs until his retirement. During his "retirement" he drove a dumptruck for Lucas Construction, Inc. until 2020.
Rodney had many interests over the years to include deer hunting, breeding AKC registered Brittany Spaniels, bird hunting, skeet shooting, ice fishing, snowmobiles and ATVs.
Rodney was predeceased by his wife, Trudy, his parents, a brother Terry "Butch" Fuller, and a sister, Donna. He is survived by a brother, Ronald, daughters Karen and Carrie and son Dennis, stepsons Larry and Paul and stepdaughter Susan plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of Rodney's life will be held on February 5, 2023 at the Searsmont Community Center, 37 Main Street in Searsmont with the Rev. James Culbertson officiating. A private burial will be held in the spring. Family, friends and acquaintances are invited to gather at 1:00 pm and services will begin at 1:30. A meal will be served immediately following the service.
