Obituary of Ramona Helen Dorgan
Ramona H Dorgan, 88, entered her eternal home on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Tall Pines Nursing Home in Belfast, Maine, where she had resided for the past 9 years.
Ramona was born on May 24, 1934 in Jonesboro, Maine to Clifford H Tracey, Sr, and Lura E (Wallace) Tracey.
While raising her children, Mona, as she preferred to be called, worked at Allen's Blueberry Factory in Ellsworth during the summers and made Christmas wreaths in the fall.
Mona liked to watch TV, especially Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, as well as read and do word search puzzles.
Before becoming a resident of Tall Pines, Mona was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Belfast.
In addition to her parents, Mona was predeceased by her brother, Clifford Jr., infant son, Donald in 1964, her son Darryl Camber in 2000, daughter Sharron Carlson in 2011, and grandson Marcus Camber in 2017.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirlee Hall and husband Charlie of Belfast, son Dean Camber and wife Renee of Union, son Dennis Camber of Thomaston, 8 grandchildren, Rick, DJ, Mary, Krystal, Rebecca, Evan, Randy and Marshall, as well as 13 great grandchildren, including 2 sets of twins.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff of Tall Pines for the excellent care given to Mona while she was in their care.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
