Obituary of Roberta L. Herbest

Roberta " Bert" Herbest, 60, of Swanville passed away on December 6, 2022 in Belfast. 

After a long battle with cancer, she is no longer in pain. 

Bert was born in Belfast, the oldest of five.

Predeceased by her parents Robert & Jean Walsh and youngest sister Kim Tyler.

She is survived by her beloved husband Dana, daughter Laura Walsh fiance Lyle Littlefield; sisters Tanya Walsh Roberts and husband Dennis of Swanville, Wanda Pinkham and husband Jon of Belmont, Andrea Walsh of Rockland; her greatest love and joy her grandchildren Dakota, Devin, Yvonne Freeman, and Riley Knight. Fondly remembered by her nephews Jon Walsh and Derrick Tyler; nieces Destioney, Madyson, and Brooke Pinkham, and Carly, Alyssa, and Jean McIntyre; uncles and aunts Dennis, Sandra, and Naomi; several cousins; her dog Elsa.

Bert's passions were riding her Harley she had won, tending her gardens, and watching birds. An avid reader ancestors and history were her favorites. She never stopped talking about her trip to Gettysburg. Bert held several jobs through the years best known for her 20 years at Rollie's. While working she was asked to have her car in the Patriots Super Bowl parade this made her both happy & proud. Fly high sweetheart you will be missed. A celebration of life will be announced in the spring of 2023.
