Josephine M. (Parker) Seekins, 91, passed away August 4th, 2022 at Frankfort Assisted Living, where she had lived since 2017.

She was born October 21st, 1930 in Frankfort to Arlene (Hustus) Parker and George Parker Sr. She married Clyde Seekins on August 1st, 1948, and moved to North Searsport where they built a house and raised chickens. Together they had six children and enjoyed square dancing and snowmobiling.

Josephine could be found at any time with a crochet hook in her hand, making hundreds of hats, afghans, and doilies. She also loved making cakes for various loved one’s weddings, birthdays, and baby showers. The family would like to express many thanks to the staff at Frankfort Assisted Living and Kindred Hospice, who helped take care of "Josie" in her final days. All the love shown by these ladies helped make things easier during this difficult time.

A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, in Swanville, ME, on August 28th, 2022, at 3:00 PM.
