Obituary of Naomi E. Brown

On May 28th, 2022, Naomi Ellen Brown, 62, of West Appleton, passed away peacefully. Naomi was the daughter of Wayne and Faith Barney of Guilford, Maine. Naomi’s pride and joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother. She transformed the house her husband built into a loving home in which she raised her family. Naomi had an appreciation for all aspects of life. She loved watching the birds and butterflies, loved animals of all kinds, and was always the first to spot a rainbow in the sky. She was predeceased by her father, Wayne Barney. Naomi leaves her loving husband, Bernard Brown; her children David Brown and Rachael Brown; her mother, Faith Godin, and her husband Edward; her sister, Eileen Macisso, and her husband Joe; her sister Patricia Barney; her sister Cathy Barney; her brother, Matthew Barney, and his wife Heidi; her mother-in-law, Barbara Brown; her brother-in-law Forrest Brown Jr, and his significant other Karen; her sister-in-law Donna Brown, and many other relatives. The family will be holding a graveside service on Friday June 10th, 2022 at 1:00 PM. It will be located at Morrill Village Cemetery, across from Morrill Baptist Church (Veracity Chapel), 25 South Main Street, Morrill, Maine 04952.
