Obituary of Elaine Marie MacArthur

Elaine Marie MacArthur 74, of Searsport, Maine, passed away unexpectedly after a short, but severe illness, on May 21st, 2022, at the Sussman house Hospice in Rockport, Maine. Elaine is predeceased by her 3 sisters, Myrtle Buzzell, Virginia Lapointe, and Helen Taylor. Surviving are her children Vicki MacArthur 53 and Victor MacArthur 52 , both from Searsport, Maine; her Grandchildren, Braeden MacArthur, Mikayla Brown, Nathen Dillingham, and Justin MacArthur; her sister Rita Grindle, three brothers Mellard Cook, Leon Buzzell, and Linden Buzzell Jr. and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was especially close to certain relatives including Mellard Cook, Roxanne Williams, Jeffrey Cook, Heather Walsh, Harley Kirk, and others. She was very much loved by all who knew her, and her passing has left a hole in many people's hearts. Elaine very much enjoyed making quilts, blankets and baby toys and several of her relatives have received such homemade gifts from her over the years. Elaine "Mom" you will be greatly missed and everyone that knew you loved and appreciated you. Mom, this is for you.....
