I had the great honor and pleasure of meeting Carmine while attending the dinner in 2017 that preceded the day the wreaths were laid at Arlington Cemetery. The dinner was to honor the truck drivers who brought the wreaths, and all the military active duty and veterans who were present. Carmine's smile lit up the room and as a fellow Italian, we hugged upon meeting. Laying the wreaths at Arlington that year is a highlight of my life and meeting Carmine was a special moment within that experience. We can never be thankful enough for his service to our great country and the world is truly a better place because he was in it. Thank you, Carmine! And to Carmine's family, my sincere condolences.

My 10 year old daughter and I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Pecorelli last year. She loves to thank veterans for their service. We saw him in Belfast and she approached him and thanked him for his service and shook his hand. He was so kind and grateful. He talked about his family and how much he loved them. He then took off his hat and gave my daughter one of the pins that he had on his it and insisted she take it and think of him and all veterans when she looked at it. Such a kind, generous man.

I feel so bad that I didn't know of Carmine's passing until today. Carmine was one of the kindest, most caring, and loving men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. His laugh was like no other, loud, robust, and it made everyone around laugh as well. If you wanted to hear that laugh all you had to do was call him a "flatlander". Carmine was such a gentleman, always opening every door for a lady. My family was blessed to have known him. His happiness filled our lives many times. He will be greatly missed. RIP my friend.

Carmine I am deeply saddened by the loss of a brother In-Arms and a friend. Your infectious smile and positive attitude have reached so many people and has made a difference in eveyones' lives you have touched. You will be missed but not forgotten.
I will miss our little chats about who went to the best Private Military Academy (The Citadel or NU).

Carmine was the consumate old school gentleman with impeccable manners. He treated every person he came into contact with with respect and full attention and an ever ready smile. He was a true servant to mankind and always tried to improve his community through service. Leading by example, showing us all what a wonderful world this could be.

Carmine my dear dear friend I will miss making hotel reservations for you so you can fly to we’re ever you need to go and having dinner’s together showing you new places in the city of Portland. Your story’s when you told them was like being there looking over your shoulder as you spoke and seeing them through your eyes. From being your bodyguard from all the woman on the Wreaths Across America Convoy and stops, and sometimes my seat mate on the bus and in the places we stop at to having your own private table for the few of us at Saint Anns Club in NJ. For taking you to your surprise birthday party that you figure out and our phone calls we would make to each other o what memories I have and will cherish for ever. My heart is broken in so many pieces for me but you are with the lord and rejoicing greetings all that has come after you. I love you my dear dear sweet Friend May you fly high and free we have your watch. Love Jeanette (aka) Precious as you would call me.

I will miss that amazing smile from one of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure to know. My fellow Jersey-ite, and adopted Pop-Pop. It’s been my honor to have known you in this life. Adieu my friend, until we meet again.
