Obituary of Doris T. Peaslee

BELFAST - Doris T. Peaslee, 92, died peacefully at the Sussman House in Rockport, February 27, 2022. Doris was born to William and Teresa Frawley in Wakefield, Mass on November 26, 1929. She grew up in Wakefield and lived there until she met the love of her life, Bruce Peaslee. Bruce was in the Navy and stationed in San Diego, California where they were married on May 5, 1952. They lived in Belfast since 1972. Doris was a dedicated wife and mother and loved her family. She was always available to lend an ear to family and friends. She also enjoyed going for walks, birdwatching and reading. She is remembered as a kind and sweet person. She is survived by her children, son David and wife Barbara, son Daniel and wife Sandra and daughter Julie and husband Leonard Howard. She is also survived by grandchildren William, Abby, Jennifer, Susan, Justin, Jessica and Sarah as well as 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by husband Bruce, parents, brother Norman and sisters Evelyn and Louise. In keeping with her wishes, there are no services planned.
