Obituary of Michael Thomas Seekins

Michael T. Seekins, 36, of Belfast, died unexpectedly on December 12, 2021, at WCGH, with his mother by his side. He was born on January 6, 1985, to Jessica Flood of Belfast and Robert Seekins of Monroe. He graduated from Belfast Area High School, and also attended EMCC for graphic design. He worked for the Bangor Daily News, and never missed a night of work. Michael enjoyed drawing anime, reading, going to rock concerts and the movies with his mom, music, gaming, fishing, and taking his fur sister, Ruby, for walks. Michael is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Allen and Louise (Canning) Flood of Belfast, three uncles, Lee, Mitchell and Alley, and a cousin Joshua. Michael is survived by his parents, his great aunt Viola (Canning) and great uncle Fred Wheeler of Belfast, his uncle Rick and aunt Karon of Belfast, his uncle Roland and aunt Deborah of Belfast, and his cousins Dan, Rick Jr., Tanya and fiance Lee, Jamie and husband Rich, Dylan, Sam, and many friends and extended family. Michael was a quiet, kind and caring soul, who had a contagious smile. His mom will miss the goodnight kiss, hug and "I love you too mom" from him every night before bedtime.
