Elise Herbig King, 95, passed away October 15, 2021 at Tall Pines common. She was born in Abbot, Maine to William and Johan Harmon.
Elise Graduated from Crosby High School in Belfast. She met and married Charles Herbig in Louisville, Kentucky before moving to Belfast. They were married for 43 years until his death. Elise married Charles King whom she went to high school with in Belfast. They were married for 25 years.
Elise was predeceased by her sisters, Mary, Annabelle, and Katie. Those left to cherish memories of her are her husband, Charles, 2 sons: Bruce and wife Jackie, Leslie and wife Cindy. Grandchildren Lynn Perrigo and Jeff, Erin Herbig and husband Joseph Baiungo, Kevin Herbig and wife Gabrielle. Great grandchildren Zachary, Malisha, Anna, Charles, Owen, Finn and Theo, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
At Elise’s Request, there will be a private family memorial service. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children’s hospital, 51 blossom St. Boston, MA 02114, Dementia society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
