Obituary of Dennis James O'Brien

Dennis J. O’Brien (DJ), 48, of Monroe passed away unexpectedly October 14, 2021. Born in Bangor, Maine on August 30, 1973, DJ enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He enjoyed being in the woods and being an equipment operator for W. C. Tripp Forestry Products in Winterport, Maine. DJ enjoyed his career in boxing while growing up; he also served in the Army after graduating high school. DJ was predeceased by his parents Dennis and Denise O’Brien, and a sister Kelley O’Brien. DJ is survived by his four children, Brandon Mitchell and wife Gracie, Devin O’Brien, Mariah O’Brien and fiancé Kody Grant, and Dylan O’Brien; four grandchildren, Eben, Hallie, Alannah, and Blake; two sisters, Linda Farias and Beth Hall. DJ is also survived by Julie O’Brien and is companion Cheryl Langevin.
