I am thankful to have known Rodney and be able to call him a friend. He was a person who was there if you needed help and he was there for me. I will remember him as an impressive worker whether stripping an electric motor or building a duck coop as sturdy as a house. I will remember him as the friend who would show up to help me if my car broke down, travel with me to New Hampshire to buy an old truck, or lend me a tool for building my house, or fixing that old truck. I'll miss our conversations and the evening beers whether at the picnic table or in his tv room watching an old western. I'm so Betty and all Rodney's family, I'll be thinking about all of you.
