On Monday, August 9, 2021, Donna Ivy Clark Fraser, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at 81 years of age. She passed away at Sussman House in Rockport, ME from respiratory complications. Donna was born May 27, 1940 at Waldo County General Hospital. She grew up in Stockton Springs, ME, graduated from Stockton Springs High School then married William J. Fraser May 1, 1960, and lived in their home in Stockton as they planned their lives together. She continued to live there after her husband passed away in February of 2017. She worked for a time in Augusta, ME but returned to Stockton to raise their son. Years later, Donna worked as a bookkeeper for ITO Corporation of New England in Searsport until retiring in 2001. In her younger years, she was a Sunday School teacher at Stockton Springs Community Church. She enjoyed camping, boating and travelling with her husband, William. But especially their travels to many Folk Music Festivals. She had a true love for music, working in her flower gardens, and feeding the wildlife in the backyard. She always took note of the number of duck families and deer that were raised in the backyard each year. In the last several years, puzzles reading, and watching her backyard filled her days. In her caring nature, Donna loved her family and was always the lead in decorating and preparing special gifts for every holiday. Christmas was a very special time of year for her. She would watch Christmas shows starting in September in anticipation of the days that would be spent decorating for her family. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Walter F & Frances L. (Crawford) Clark, and brother Wayne Clark Sr. She is survived by her son, Anthony C. Fraser and his wife, Dorothy I.M. Fraser. Her eldest grandson, Quinlan T. Fraser and his wife, Elizabeth C.O. Moore. Her youngest grandson, Connor M. Fraser. Her sister Patricia A. Herbest & family of Evergreen, AL. Her sister-in-law Frances R. Clark & family. Numerous half-brothers & sisters from her husband’s side along with their families locally and away.
