Obituary of Richard J. Hanscom

Richard J. Hanscom, Sr., passed away June 17, 2021 in Belfast, Maine. He was born April 21, 1950 in Bar Harbor, Maine the fourth son of E. Colon and Alice C. (MacDonald) Hanscom. He graduated from Bar Harbor High School and joined the Army.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth and William.
Ricahrd is survived by a son Richard J. “RJ” Hanscom, Jr. of Bangor, his brother John and wife Jan of Bar Harbor, sisters-in-law Patricia Fournier of Center Barnstead, NH, and Barbara Hanscom of Belfast, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Hulls Cove, Maine.
