Obituary of Sandra L. Tucker

Sandra Tucker of Unity, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 17th, at home with her family. Sandra was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend. Over the years, Sandra had many passions and hobbies from crafting clocks for the flea market to the simple joy of reading a good book by the pool. Being such a kind and compassionate woman, it is no surprise that after retiring with her husband to Unity, Sandra found her way back to working in health care where she made a difference in the lives of many with her silly hats and everlasting energy. Sandra spent much of her time over the past few years with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she cherished every moment with them whether it was making them French toast for breakfast, going on a shopping trip, or attending a dance recital or a football game. In addition to her parents, Paul and Janet Nelson, Sandra was predeceased by her loving husband, Perley “Chuck” Tucker, and a daughter, Patricia Blackmon. Sandra is survived by her children, Tommy Tucker of Unity, Christopher Tucker of Old Orchard Beach, and Melissa Tucker of Vassalboro; grandchildren, Nicole Tucker, Samantha Daniels, Ethan Blackmon, Alexis Blackmon, Dominick Cormier, and Gabriel Tucker; great-grandchildren Jacob Tucker, Isabella and Avery Daniels, and a large extended network of family and close friends, including special cousin Cathy Jordan. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
