Obituary of Agnes May Dudley

SEARSMONT AGNES M. DUDLEY, 83 of Searsmont, passed away January 21, 2021 at Waldo County Hospital in Belfast. She was born in Belfast, Maine on March 12, 1937 to Howard and Bethania (Beal) Harvey. Agnes graduated from Crosby High School, Class of 1956. Agnes loved baking and poultry farming where they raised chickens for Penobscot Poultry. She enjoyed sewing, making clothing for many family members and teaching them the art. She was a skilled seamstress sewing without a pattern-making curtains, quilts, blankets and even made her own daughter's wedding dress. Agnes loved being a grandmother and watching them play sports. Agnes had a great love for animals and enjoyed teaching her own pets tricks. She was predeceased by both parents; her husband Carl Dudley and brother Harold Harvey. Agnes is survived by her brother Harland Harvey and his wife Virginia of South Portland; her children Scott Dudley of Searsmont, Tina Monreal and husband Ray of Bucksport, Nina Robinson of Jefferson; her step-daughter Dixie L. Jones of Belfast and grandchildren Hannah, Andrew, Sarah, Cody and Natasha. Spring interment will be at Grove Cemetery in Belfast on May 15, 2021, at 10 am.
