Obituary of Frances Lorena Gray

Frances L. Gray born September 19, 1931 to the late Myron and Anne Curtis passed away on January 17, 2021 at a health care facility in Bangor from covid-19. She also fought an Alzheimer’s disease for several years. Frances enjoyed, in her early years, knitting, crocheting, gardening, canning the vegetables for winter and caring for her family. She had grandchildren to her home for weekends long into their teens. Frances was happiest making pies and biscuits for anyone who stopped by. She worked by her husband’s side in his fishing business for a many years. Frances was predeceased by her husband of more then 50 years, Vernard S. Gray Sr., by her grandson Wyatt Gray and by her brother Roger Curtis. Surviving are her children, Vernard “Garlie” Gray Jr., and his wife Carol, Andrea Grindle and her husband John, Shelly Gray and her partner Maurice Beldon and Aaron Gray and his wife Tammy, her grandchildren, Shannon Gray, Lynn Robshaw, Travis Veilleux, Trever Veilleux, John Merrithew and Paige Gray; her great grandchildren, Chanelle, Nathaniel, Alex, Tanner, Eli, Paisley, Shealynn and Avery and her great great grandchildren, Nora and August, her sister Henrietta Seekins and her step brother Walter Rollerson.
