Obituary of Ernestine Fraser
Ernestine Fraser, 79, of Belfast, Maine, passed away on November 2, 2020 in Belfast, Maine at the Tall Pines.
Ernestine was born in Belfast, Maine to Myrtle and Ernest A. Fletcher on March 27, 1941. She graduated from Crosby High School in Belfast. After graduating, Ernestine’s career for most her entire adult life was in administrative assistant roles. She moved away from the East Coast and lived mostly in the Midwest for many years and eventually retired and moved back to Maine, with which her time was devoted to reading almost a book a day, knitting which she usually gave as gifts or donated, working on puzzles and playing computer games. She loved all kinds of music ranging from the Eagles to Frank Sinatra and loved a good Nebraska steak rare with it just barely passed over a flame. However, with her heart always in Maine and love of a good lobster, she helped her friends and family enjoy many amazing lobster feasts!
She is survived by her daughter Michelle Top of Kansas City, MO, and two grandchildren, Jennifer Topf of Kansas City, MO, Tiffany Topf of Kansas City, MO, and 5 great grandchildren Ashtyn, Lyvia, Lynden, Mayleigh, and Trumyn, and daughter Danielle Robertson of Omaha, NE, and granddaughter Jaimie Hiley of Asheville, NC. Also surviving is her sister Regina Nickerson of Belfast, ME, and her niece Marianne Sansouci of China, ME, and nephew Thomas Tucker of Belfast, ME. Ernestine is preceded in death by her 2nd husband William F. Fraser of Council Bluffs, IA, her mother Myrtle Fletcher of Belfast, ME, father Ernest A. Fletcher of Belfast, ME, and brother Buzzell I. Fletcher.
Per Ernestine’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
