Thank you so much for making these past 6 years since I met you special in so many ways. Whether it be showing up with a backpack full of groceries you thought I'd need or to come pick me up off the floor knowing I'd had a seizure cause I missed afew phone calls you were always there for me even when you were so sick yourself it didnt matter what time it was or what the weather was you always came through for all of us lucky enough to know you. I only hope I finally convinced you just how strong AND sweet you were on the inside not just the outside. You worked so hard to set an example to me, or children and anyone struggling that it was never too late to better yourself and free yourself of any demons or challenges you were faced with. All it took was determination and love and a little will power and nothing could stop you. I only wish I could have saved you from the pain and suffering you had to endure just trying to keep all if us that needed you content as long as you could. Sadly due to this crazy new world we live in all the appointments they cancelled on you gave this awful 2nd struggle of yours the upperhand. I am so proud of you for unselfishly pushing yourself through of the pain and suffering to show us all one last time how strong you were and as always worrying more about how we would get by without you more than worrying about anything you might be missing out on yourself. That huge heart of yours is what I will remember the most. As you know I didnt know you when you were mostly known as Maddog you will always be Topdog to me. I know you told alot of old friends that was your updated nickname and how much that new nickname meant to you. I never did see that mad side iess you thought the need to protect someone I guess was as close as I ever saw. Again....always putting everyone else ahead of yourself. I know there will NEVER be anyone else that could do a better impression than you of our beloved cowardly lion on the wizard of oz as well. I laughed just as hard the last time you did him just as much as the first! One of the many laughs we had. I will always think of you whenever I see that lion. Thank you for the drawer full of heartfelt letters, poems and cards you've left me with and will hold them close to my heart until I see you again. Love and miss you hun. Rest in peace you truly deserve that. God bless you❤ your Cupcake

Always remember the poker games at Bert & my house. Gary was so funny. He made up the funniest riddles. He had us all in stitches. The trip to Moosehead Lake. We rented a cabin, went snowmobiling, had the best meals, & played cards. The moosehunt I got to go on. Gary got a nice one.
